Brighton Half and a Heartbreaker
A very wet and windy Brighton saw 33 club runners from Bognor Tone Zone attend the Vitality Half Marathon. Despite the stormy conditions Peter Lee ran a flawless race and achieved a personal best time of 1.19 to place him 68th of over 8000 competitors. Worthing, Portsmouth & Wokingham
A cold and misty Sunday morning greeted 14 members of Tone Zone Runners as they took the short drive east for the Worthing Half Marathon. The star of the race was Jess Thomson who managed to smash an incredible 4 minutes from her previous best time to finish in 1:40:45. Also performing very well were Claire Baker and Chris Dummer who both achieved PB's in 2:06 and 1:30 respectively, with Chris also being the first Tone Zoner to finish. Bognor Prom 10K Race - Feb Update
Just a brief update to outline Tone Zone's involvement and plans for future changes in our home town race. A good number of TZ have taken key roles alongside the Rotary Club in coordinating arrangements for this year's race on 21st May.
