The big event of the weekend was the Chichester Priory 10k. This very well organised local race was taking place for the 25th time.
A total of 36 Tone Zone runners took part in blustery conditions. First home for the club was Simon Gill who posted a time of 34:16. We had three runners who were having their own inter-club battle with only 7 seconds separating them at the finish. Neil Strudwick led the way with a very impressive 43:50, closely followed by the ever improving Nina Baldwinson who took 3 minutes from her previous best with a time of 43:53, just coming up short was Chris Gallagher in 43:57. It was a great battle between the 3 runners who all ran in personal best times.
Adam Norgett, Caroline Edwards and Paul Wells also posted personal bests with Paul breaking the 60 minute barrier for the first time.
