The Tone Zone Darling

It may have only been a 5k race but to Amanda Worne it was the biggest race of her life. This was Amanda's first race since she suffered a life changing cycling accident last August. The Run for the Roof 5k course was quite difficult with inclines, thick wet grass and even some water but Amanda battled through it all in her hand powered bike-chair to complete the race in 41 minutes and afterwards she said it was the best feeling ever to have finished the race.

Paul Coe was named Tone Zone 2016 male runner of the year on Friday evening and on Sunday he lined up for the 36 mile Ox Ultra Marathon. Paul described the course as "a total mud bath making it difficult to walk on at times let alone run" He completed the ultra marathon in 6 hrs 42.

Last Wednesday evening saw the local Trundle Hill 10k take place, Jess Thomson finished in 55.46 with Steven Goddard just over a minute behind.

In Windsor, Mark Green ran the half marathon in 1.48.10
