New year brings fresh challenges
With the new year nearly 3 weeks old, training for the new season is in full swing.
Last weekend saw many Tone Zone Runners brave the cold to enter, for some their first races of the year.
On Saturday five runners braved neck deep icy water, energy sapping mud and biting wind to compete in Hell Runner at Longmoor Camp in Hampshire.
Sunday saw runners compete on the roads at the Stubbington Green 10k with Jess Thomson running an amazing race, knocking over 1 minute off her previous best.

Also on Sunday was the Dendies 10 mile in aid of The British Red Cross, Cheryl Laing and Alison Gilbert flew the club flag here.
17 runners also took part in the Bognor Park run. This free 5k event takes place at Hotham Park every Saturday at 9am, Jean Morris achieved a PB this weekend.
