All aboard the Pony Express Ultra....

It may have been a bank holiday weekend but there was no putting their feet up and resting for the members of Bognor Regis Tone Zone runners.

Paul Coe was again the busiest runner competing in two long races, the first was the Wickham Whistler Marathon on Saturday followed on Sunday with the Three Forts Half Marathon, these were completed in 4.08 and 2.10 respectively. Also running the half marathon and coming out of semi-retirement was Felicity Paton who got ran a very creditable time of 2 hours.

Sam Grover ran the very challenging Three Forts Marathon in 4.52.

Three ladies, Jackie Williamson, Jo Hinckley, Jude Bazeley ran in the Pony Express Ultra. This is a 31 mile race covering every type of terrain in the very picturesque New Forest. Despite the long distance all three finished around the 6 hour 30 minute mark.

Sarah Santer yet again proved that it's only worth doing a race if you're waist deep in mud and water. She ran the Brutal 10k in 1.16.
