Bognor Regis Tone Zone Runners paint the promenade blue and orange at Bognor Regis Prom 10k

Bognor Regis Tone Zone Runners turned out in force for their home race on 19 May , fielding 129 runners at the 30^th Edition of the Bognor Regis Prom 10k.

The weather wasn’t the kindest with a strong headwind from the 5.5k mark where you join the promenade in Felpham but the feeling in the race village was on another level. On a day filled with fast times, personal milestones, and incredible community support, the club secured a phenomenal double podium finish in the team competitions.

Both the Bognor Regis Tone Zone Runners men’s and women’s squads captured the 2nd Place Team Prizes, cementing the club’s position as a dominant force in local distance running.

Leading the charge for the men was Seth Hamilton, who delivered a blistering performance to finish in 35:13, securing a hard-earned Personal Best (PB). He was closely followed by Jack Penfold (35:30) and Grant Slade (37:12). Together, the trio's exceptional times earned them the runner-up spot in the Men's team category.

Not to be outdone, the Tone Zone Women mirrored that success with their own 2nd Place Team Prize. The scoring trio was led by Cerys Dickinson, who crossed the line in a superb 43:19. She was supported by Jessica Thomson (44:31) and Miranda Adamson (44:56) to secure the silverware.

Beyond the podium, the race was a celebration of personal progression and club dedication. Several runners celebrated shiny new Personal Bests on the flat coastal course, including Marlena Clark (46:14), Lee Clark (47:57), and Terri Sansom (1:16:15).

True to the club's supportive ethos, Tone Zone also provided a crucial pacing team to help the wider running community hit their own target times. A total of 13 pacers guided runners along the promenade, including Garry Turner, Mark Green, Jessica Thomson, Sarah Zacal, John Williams, Stuart Thomson, Marzena Stevens, Chloe Neilson-Hopkins, Keith Hardwell, Louisa Proctor, Richard Forward, Alan Coombs, and Tracey Steer.

To have 129 runners representing the club at it's local home race is an incredible achievement in itself along with many others organising the race and marshalling shows the incredible depth and spirit from within the club
